CNAME and Custom Domain

If you are getting an instance of NeoDay, we kindly ask to get a custom domain pointing towards our long form urls.

Every Instance of NeoDay will come with β€˜Long Form URLs’. These are structured similar to the following: https://name.web.location.neoday.cloud. This works for getting an instance to be usable straight away, but isn’t the preferred end state.

As such, we ask you do the following:

Choose a Subdomain that will work well to show the NeoDay Web UI. We have recommended β€˜loyalty.company.com’ as an example.

Add a CNAME record pointing towards your Long Form URL for the Web UI Example: CNAME loyalty name.web.location.neoday.cloud

Notify your CSM from NeoDay about your chosen domain and that you have set the CNAME record.

Once this has been done, we can notify the NeoDay Application of the available domain, and the Web UI will soon be available on it.

When a Custom URL has been configured, the Long Form URL is disabled.
